I have always been a fan of jukeboxes, especially the mid to late 1960’s models manufactured by AMI/Rowe, Rock-Ola and Seeburg. I had been looking to pick-up a juke but nothing I came across was in my price-range or had the features I was looking for. That said, I set out to build my own custom jukebox cabinet. It was during its construction that it evolved into something more. It turned out to be a complete music, karaoke and classic arcade entertainment system. The following photos show the end result. Effect wise, the unit contained a laser lightshow projector and fog machine. And yes, people visiting have to suffer through watching my cool-ass disco dance moves! Let’s just say that that is the price of admission.
